Gerard got his Remington last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Grayling. One issue with the 458 Win Mag barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. My best friends' favorite gun is the first gun that my Gerard gave me, which is a Remington Model 673 458 Win Mag. I got my Remington 17 HMR online at Cabelas.
My best friend Gerard says his favorite caliber for groundhogs out to 300-400 yards is anything in a 458 Win Mag. My friend (Gerard) said his favorite caliber is the 458 Win Mag he got at a NWTF banquet last season. My all-time favorite rifle is the Remington Model 673 I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Grayling.
The best all around caliber I own is probably the 458 Win Mag from Bass Pro Shops in Grayling. My dad got his rifle at a gun pawn shop in Grayling that went out of business years ago. I got my Remington Model 673 in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Grayling. My most favorite rifle is everything made by Remington.
