Norman got his Weatherby last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Crandall. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 222 Rem Magnum from Bass Pro Shops in Crandall.
I like the the 300 Weatherby Mag best for deer hunting. For deer hunting I like a handy checkered walnut stocked Weatherby Vanguard Stainless for hunting under 200 yards.
My dad said his favorite caliber is the 222 Rem Magnum he got at a NWTF banquet last season. My Mom's favorite caliber for me is the 222 Rem Magnum because it has the best combo of power and speed to make it the most versatile for the different types of game in Tennessee. My favorite hunt was in Crandall when you took Lizzie out and the two of you fall asleep, but still managed to get the buck with your 300 Weatherby Mag.
